Das Haus am Fenster
The house by the window is separated from the rest of the campus. As an extra level, it fills the unused space between an airy stairwell.
From a height of 12 meters, you can observe the side arm of the river „Saale“ and forget the world around you for a night. The platform, designed for two people, rests on two steel beams at a height of 3.2 meters and is separated from the rest of the staircase by an acoustic panel wall made of polyester fibre fleece. The solid wooden ladder leads to the sleeping level, which can be closed off with a hatch. We invite you to take a look outside.
